​S​altire and Lion Creative T-Shirt Design 2016

The Beginning,

Born, bred, raised and educated in Glasgow's east end, i have been lucky enough to have shared life with some fabulous character's, some of whom were just acquaintance's, and others became great friends.

The Early Years,

Starting off my working carreer in my father's footsteps in the 70's as an apprentice sheet metal worker, i was about to embark on a love for design. This choice of carreer has moulded me into the man i am today, 40 something years later.

The Midlife Years

During an evening of having friend's round, the conversation turned to a let's say, a rather big up and coming football event in the city of Glasgow, due to take place at our International football stadium. Why dont we design and print our own Scottish theme t-shirts for the match, with our own statement printed, a friend said. Yes we all had our official and other branded name gear that we would normaly wear when supporting the National side, but this time the thought of creating our own shirt designed for the big occassion was appealing.

It was like waving a red rag to a bull for me, and i took up the challenge of coming up with something special that would suit everyone. My eye for design just took over and i locked myself away with my laptop until i was satisfied with the final image. Don't get me wrong, i never came up with this graphic immediately. The amount of ideas i came up with along the way that i binned was amazing, but i just kept on doodling away, until the fitba boots arriived.

I invited my friends to give me their opinion of the finished article. A pair of Saltire flag designed Scottish Football Boots would be printed on t-shirts plus any text we wanted, and they were blown away.

It was suggested that, "you could sell those online, Scotland fans would love this idea". So that is what led me to keep it going and design even more graphic's in all sorts of sports and other fun themes that are different from anything available from the usual humdrum high steet offering's. Don't you ever get fed up with the same old, same old. I used to but not anymore.

Our graphics have been designed and uploaded to market leading suppliers, for digital transfer to t-shirts and a whole host of other personal, household, office and fun goods.

Our images can also be adapted as website logo's and trademarks if requested, the possibilities are indeed endless.
